Yes... three gorgeous blankets were delivered to me this week. Marg who is a new blogger from HERE... sent them along for this wonderful project. Marg said in her card to me... 'I hope these small blankets will make a family feel that they are loved and thought of in my prayers'. Marg feels sad reading the stories about grieving families but she knows that these blankets really do MAKE a difference. THANK YOUMarg... you are now officially an AnGeL.
These two quilts were made by Tricia from fabric donated by Irene.
Tricia used lovely PiNks in one and the other is made using embroidered Teddies and they are GORGEOUS!What a wonderful "team effort" girls... gratefully accepted and placed into the box this week.
It's nearing time for my annual trip to the John Hunter Hospital in January and I am over the moon with the number and quality of the BLaNKeTs. You will all make such a difference to a family that has lost a little one.
Give yourself a pat on the back Tricia and Irene...
These two beauties arrived from Elizabeth.
Elizabeth has her own personal story of the loss of her child... but still found room in her heart to make and donate these two Blankets of Love to another grieving family.
I am simply amazed at the generous nature of people!
THANK YOU Elizabeth... you are truly an AnGeL.
I know a wonderful lady by the name of Maria... from here... http://maria-lifeontheblock.blogspot.com.au who donated 2 more wonderful Blankets of Love. Maria is a very generous person who makes gorgeous quilts. Go check out her blog to see what other projects Maria works her magic on.
Another gorgeous blanket arrived last week from Wish2Stitch.
It has the softest blue flannel on the back and wonderful stripes on the front. The lines of quilting are simply sensational!
Thank YOU for being so generous with your time, effort, dollars and thoughts!
Proudly display the AnGeL on your blog so everyone else knows how "special" you are!
