GorGeouS WorK

I returned home from holidays to find another two beautiful blankets waiting to be opened from Tricia.
You should see the wonderful work in both of these 24inch squares of LoVe! It's amazing!
The first...a blue one.. has the cutest fabric backing... as seen above
And the second... in pink...
has the most wonderful machine embroidery sections on it.
The backing on this one has been pieced as well.

Of course both are perfectly quilted. Tricia... you are a true craftswoman!
These two beauties will make a treasured memento for some unfortunate family.
Thank YOU once again Tricia for your generosity !

AnoTHeR NeeDeD

My daughters friend lost her baby son at 20 weeks and needed a blanket of love to help her and her family through the grieving process. My daughter picked out a blanket she knew her friend would like. It was originally generously donated by Maria & I embroidered Tom and the date in a "heart" on the front.
Personally knowing the impact these BLanKeTs make to someone is really overwhelming... but wonderful at the same time.

Again I would like to THANK each and every wonderful & generous blogger who has made a donation to this project.

A BLanKeT DoNaTeD

I received an email from a lady in Victoria telling me her story.
She found this blog via another site which also helps grieving parents.

"M" lost her baby daughter earlier this year and wanted to know if one of the Blankets of Love could be forwarded to her. Of course I was only to happy to help in this way. We shared several emails and "M" picked out the blanket she would like to use in her memory box for her daughter, Olivia.
This is the one "M" picked out... generously donated and made by Claire.

Isn't it wonderful to KNOW these blankets DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Thank you to all those wonderful generous ladies out there in blogland!

StitcHeD with LoVe

You only have to see the workmanship in this beautiful blanket, to know that Susan from ThimbleStitch made it with LoVe in her heart. The colour blue is so sweet and the hand quilting is perfect.
Thank You Susan... you are a thoughtful and generous quilter.
Be proud to display the "AngeL" so that other visitors will know it too!
