I received an email from a lady in Victoria telling me her story.
She found this blog via another site which also helps grieving parents.
"M" lost her baby daughter earlier this year and wanted to know if one of the Blankets of Love could be forwarded to her. Of course I was only to happy to help in this way. We shared several emails and "M" picked out the blanket she would like to use in her memory box for her daughter, Olivia.
This is the one "M" picked out... generously donated and made by Claire.
Isn't it wonderful to KNOW these blankets DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Thank you to all those wonderful generous ladies out there in blogland!
This was an idea started out of LoVe....
but unfortunately continues out of NeeD....

StitcHeD with LoVe
You only have to see the workmanship in this beautiful blanket, to know that Susan from ThimbleStitch made it with LoVe in her heart. The colour blue is so sweet and the hand quilting is perfect.
Thank You Susan... you are a thoughtful and generous quilter.
Be proud to display the "AngeL" so that other visitors will know it too!

TheSe have a StoRY
I received four gorgeous Blankets of Love from Tricia.
Tricia read about "Blankets of Love" in an old magazine and was touched by the story. She searched it on the "net" and found my blogsite. Tricia lost her own infant many years ago so this project really was personal for her. She wrote me that she wished there had been something like this back then so her family could have a "blanket" that had wrapped her infant.
These Blankets are perfectly stitched and quilted and I can tell these were made with LoVe.

Sue from... KiwiKids blog ... handed over 6 (yes six) Blankets of Love to me on my recent visit to Victoria (Australia). This was such a generous donation by Sue and very much appreciated too... so now Sue can proudly display the "ANGeL" button on her blog. That way everyone will know how "special" she is...These 6 little cuties are in the box for now and will go to The John Hunter Childrens Hospital later this year.
Thanks again Sue... you are an AnGeL...
Please forgive the crushed state of the BLaNKetS Sue... they were packed for the flight... but they will be ironed and taken care of from now on ... promise !
